30.07.2010 / Starting an on-line discussion on civil society and business forums at MCED-6
CAREC begins an on-line discussion: “Involving civil society and business community into “Green growth” policy promotion: Priorities, solutions, perspectives”. This on-line forum will be conducted from 1 August till 15 October 2010 within the preparation to the Sixth Ministerial Conference on Environment and Development in Asia and the Pacific (MCED-6), which will take place in Astana, Kazakhstan, on 27 Sept – 2 Oct 2010.

The 1st Central Asian Leadership Programme on Environment for Sustainable Development will be held during 28-30 September at Nazarbayev University in Astana, Kazakhstan. The 3 days programme targets mid level officials interested in sustainable development issues and integrates the three dimensions of human, environment and sustainable development.

15.06.2010 / CENTRAL-ASIAN SUBREGIONAL SEMINAR ON EDUCATION FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
On June 16-18, 2010 in Almaty, the Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia (CAREC) in cooperation and with support of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), will hold Central-Asian Subregional Seminar on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), which main objective is to assist the countries of the Central Asia (CA) in performance of the international obligations according to the UNECE Strategy for ESD.
