The first mission of the I-WEB project team to the Republic of Kazakhstan
Kazakhstan, Almaty, April 11, 2013 – The Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia (CAREC) held a meeting with the partners of the TEMPUS programme of the European Union in the framework of I-WEB project (Water, Education and Business)
The meeting was attended by programme partners – representatives of higher education institutions – Middlesex University (UK), Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain), University of Leipzig (Germany),University of Cyprus, Al-Farabi KazNU, Ualikhanov KokSU, International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi and international organizations working in the sphere of water management and education for sustainable development (ESD).
This project aims at creation of the web-based information platform for the different target groups. The main theme of the resource will be dedicated to the problems of water, management, water resources and harmonization of higher education in Kazakhstan.
